Mischa Barton
She's got a TV show, movie projects and endorsement deals, and finally Mischa Barton admits: "I'm a bit of a workaholic, I've realized."
Indeed. When the O.C. star and Keds spokesmodel – whom we caught up with at L.A.'s Tropicana Bar for the shoemaker's 2006 fall collection party – wraps her FOX show on May 5, she'll head to Toronto just a week later to film the World War II love story Closing the Ring.
She's even spending time helping with research. "I love that period of clothing," she tells us. "We went to vintage shops – it's so cool to find a rare piece of fallen-apart clothing."

Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora Breaks His Arm
Richie Sambora
Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was treated for a broken left arm after a fall at home in Los Angeles last week, his rep tells PEOPLE. Sambora's arm is in a sling, but he will still perform when Bon Jovi begins the Japanese stadium leg of their "Have A Nice Day" World Tour on April 8 and is expected to be fully recovered by the time the band's European swing begins in May.
No tour dates will be cancelled. Last week the musician, 46, was also in the news over his divorce from Heather Locklear. In Los Angeles Superior Court, Sambora filed papers asking that the prenuptial agreement signed by the couple before they were married in 1994 be "enforced."
In his filing, Sambora seeks joint custody of the couple's 8-year-old daughter, Ava Elizabeth. He also requests that he not be required to pay spousal support. His papers list the couple's separation date – Dec. 26, 2005 – the first time that the day had actually been revealed.

Priscilla Presley: Graceland Not for Sale
Priscilla Presley
Graceland, the Memphis mansion that Elvis Presley called home for 20 years, was designated a National Historic Landmark on Monday, prompting the late King's wife, Priscilla Presley, to squelch rumors that their daughter Lisa Marie would ever dispose of the 14-acre estate.
"Nobody is selling Graceland!" Priscilla Presley tells PEOPLE. "Lisa is the sole heir to Graceland – she owns the house and the grounds.
It will be a place for her and the children to visit forever." Shortly after Interior Secretary Gale Norton and Priscilla appeared at Graceland for a ceremony naming it a National Historic Landmark – along with the White House, Pearl Harbor, the Alamo, Mount Vernon and nearly 2,500 other sites – Presley told PEOPLE: "Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would become a landmark. I'm sure Elvis would be humbled by it. … Graceland was his pride and joy."
Elvis bought the home in 1957 "with $103,000 in proceeds from 'Heartbreak Hotel' and moved his parents in with him to share it," Priscilla said. As for her first encounter with the legendary home, "He told me about Graceland when I was a young girl in Germany.
I was 14, and that was the one place he always talked about. …He talked about me going there, and it didn't disappoint."
Elvis, who died in 1977, still remains on the grounds. "The Meditation Garden is one of my favorite places to visit," said Priscilla, who says that the family no longer stays in the house. "Elvis is buried there and his parents and grandmother. It's a nice way to pay respects."

I've thought about it a lot for a long time," she says. "This is not the most pleasurable place all the time ... because of all the bull ... it's exhausting, it's silly." Still she says, "I love my job."
She just doesn't like having to pay the price of a loss of privacy. As she tells Extra: "There's times when you wish there were more of that ... but this is what I've chosen with my life."

Nick Lachey Linked with Vanessa Minnillo
Seems like just yesterday that Nick Lachey was linked with Laguna Beach's Kristin Cavallari. So why was he getting hot and heavy with sexy young TV host Vanessa Minnillo in New York City on Monday?
The two were in a flimsily curtained-off area at the W Union Square's Underbar. "Nick’s a single guy," is all a Lachey pal will say. Ex-Personal Assistant Sues Phil Spector
Music producer Phil Spector is shown in Superior Court Monday, May 23, 2005, in Los Angeles.
Record producer Phil Spector, awaiting trial for murder, is being sued for more than $5 million by his former personal assistant, whose claims include sexual harassment.
In September, the creator of rock music's "wall of sound" sued Michelle Blaine, alleging that she siphoned off hundreds of thousands of dollars from his accounts.
Blaine countersued Friday, saying Spector, 66, authorized all payments to her including the gift of a $700,000 house, sexually harassed her, sometimes appeared naked in front of her and once asked her to find him a prostitute. One time, she said, she declined an invitation to join him and a prostitute in his hotel room.
"We believe there is very, very powerful evidence that Michelle Blaine acted not only appropriately but that she was very, very badly treated by Mr. Spector," Blaine's attorney, Tim Reuben, said Tuesday.
Blaine is seeking millions in punitive damages in addition to about $5.25 million in actual damages, the attorney said.
2003, Spector was charged with the murder of actress Lana Clarkson, who was shot in the face at the producer's mansion in suburban Alhambra.
Afterward, Blaine claims Spector repeatedly proposed marriage to her as a way to prevent her from testifying against him at his criminal trial.
California law says spouses cannot be forced to testify against each other.
Blaine also says she was sent to music industry parties in Los Angeles and New York to pass out fliers proclaiming Spector did not kill the 40-year-old Clarkson.
Spector's attorney, Bruce Cutler, accused Blaine of trying to cover up theft and embezzlement.
"She stole this money and her final lie is now that it's hush money," Cutler said. "It's all a lie."
Spector's murder trial was recently postponed until September. He has pleaded not guilty and is free on $1 million bail.
Clarkson starred in Roger Corman's cult film "Barbarian Queen." She was working as a hostess at the House of Blues on Sunset Strip when she went home with Spector the night she was killed, police say.

Judge Wants Missing Jackson Divorce Papers
Jackson and Ex-wife Debbie Rowe
A judge has ordered lawyers for Michael Jackson and ex-wife Debbie Rowe to submit copies of missing papers from their divorce file.
Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider on Monday ordered Rowe's lawyer, Marta Almli, to submit duplicate copies of Rowe's 2001 motion to terminate her parental rights to her two children with Jackson, and an emergency motion filed more than two years later seeking temporary exclusive custody and visitation rights.
Jackson's lawyers, Michael Abrams and Thomas Hall, were ordered to submit a copy of the pop star's opposition to the emergency motion.
Jackson and Rowe married in November 1996 and filed for divorce in October 1999 after the births of son Prince Michael and a daughter, Paris. Jackson also has a son whose mother hasn't been identified.
A private judge oversaw the divorce case.
"The way this file looks, it's clear to me that documents have come in an untimely fashion," Schnider said.
The missing documents must be submitted within 30 days, he said, and may be filed under seal. A hearing has been set for May 24.
Jackson, 47, and his children moved to the Middle Eastern kingdom of Bahrain soon after a jury acquitted him of child molestation charges last year.
He recently closed the house on his 2,600-acre Neverland ranch estate in Santa Barbara County and has reduced his staff there to a skeleton crew.

Addicted to Plastic Surgery: Has She Quit?
Jenny Lee
You might remember JENNY LEE from a recent episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," in which she confessed to having nearly 30 cosmetic surgeries and procedures, including a brow lift at age 25!
Upon hearing her story, "The Insider" took the 29-year-old Dallas mom to an expert in the field -- board-certified plastic surgeon DR. ROBERT REY -- to try and set her straight!
After talking at great length with the cosmetically enhanced Jenny, who'd already had Botox, cheek implants, three nose jobs, three lip implants, two boob jobs, three breast lifts and liposuction on her arms, hips, thighs, stomach and knees, the doctor diagnosed her with body dysmorphic disorder, a condition in which a person becomes obsessed with defects in their appearance that are often imagined.
Dr. Rey subsequently asked Jenny if she could make him a promise -- not to have plastic surgery for a year (Botox was still allowed). That was last May.
Now, Dr. Rey, along with our VICTORIA RECAÑO, checks in with Jenny to see if she has been able to hold up her end of the bargain thus far.
"You're looking very beautiful, Jenny," says Dr. Rey. "What have you had done since I last saw you?"
"I had Botox one time, last week, and a steroid shot in my nose," insists Jenny, who also reveals that she has been working out at a gym along with her 19-year-old sister, LAUREN.
"I became more health conscious and aware of my body and the weight that I was carrying around and how bad it made me feel," adds Jenny. "And once I started losing the weight, I had more energy and I started feeling better about myself."
Having said that, however, Jenny is counting the days until her agreement with Dr. Rey is met -- so she can have more surgery!
"Well, I've got to have my implants replaced," she says, due to her significant weight loss, "and I'm still considering the body lift."
So, what does Dr. Rey feel about her desire to have more work done? "Personally, I think it's time for you to stop," he tells her. "You are really, really beautiful. I think you should stop having plastic surgery forever. Will you give it up?"
"I don't think I can make that promise. I don't think that's realistic for me, I really don't. I've said that all along," says Jenny. "I'm not going down without a fight. When I'm 50, I don't want to look 50."
To see what's next for Jenny, watch tonight's "Insider."

Heather and Richie: Reunited?
Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora, and daughter Ava
Are superstar couple HEATHER LOCKLEAR and RICHIE SAMBORA reuniting? A new paparazzi video obtained by "The Insider" shows Heather kissing Richie on the cheek and chatting sociably with him at their daughter's softball game this past weekend. Heather even reaches over and gives Richie a few playful pats on the rump!
Just last month the blonde star of "Boston Legal" and "Spin City" filed for divorce from her handsome rocker hubby, after allegedly discovering a racy e-mail sent to him by a female acquaintance.
According to People, Heather found an e-mail sent to Richie by a woman the couple knows containing "provocative pictures." While a close friend of the pair tells the magazine that the woman had long been "a sore subject," Heather, 44, never suspected she and Richie had been "romantic." The e-mail, however, has reportedly left her "absolutely devastated." But, according to the source, Richie is equally upset: "Richie's saying nothing ever happened, that he never asked for the pictures."
Richie was reportedly shellshocked by the filing, which occurred while he was on tour with supergroup BON JOVI. When surprised by the news during an interview with ABC News Radio, he said it was "completely untrue."
Later, however, he filed papers in L.A. Superior Court on March 19 seeking joint custody of the couple's young daughter, AVA ELIZABETH, 8. He also asked the court to enforce their premarital agreement, which was dated Dec. 14, 1994, and sought to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support.
The two have been married for 11 years, and, at Ava's softball game in Sherman Oaks, CA, this past weekend, they seemed to be on the mend. Richie, 46, was also seen wearing a mysterious sling on his left arm.

Jessica Simpson May Want to Adopt Kids
Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson has babies on the brain. The 25-year-old singer filed for divorce from Nick Lachey last December but her publicist says Simpson is looking at adoption.
"Nothing has been finalized yet" as to when and how Simpson will adopt, her publicist, Rob Shuter, told The Associated Press on Tuesday. But he added, "It is true that she's exploring options."
Shuter said Simpson and her family have anonymously contributed funds to a smattering of Mexican orphanages for several years now. The singer started visiting the orphanages with a church group at age 11.
"I want to adopt, and I plan to adopt before I have my own kids," the pop star recently told TV's "Extra."
In the interview, Simpson cited a certain high profile mother as an influence.
I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing, amazing things, and the international adoption rate just since her has skyrocketed," she said. "It's unbelievable."
Simpson is best known for starring in the MTV reality show "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica" with Lachey, who gained fame as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees.

Britney Sculpture of Birth Causes Stir
This photograph, released by sculptor Daniel Edwards on Tuesday, March 28, 2006,shows his sculpture of singer Britney Spears giving birth. The life-sized "Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston," seen at the artists studio in in Moosup, Conn., will be shown at the Capla Kesting Fine Art gallery in the Williamsburg section of New York beginning April 7.
Britney Spears will soon be giving birth again in Brooklyn, as a sexy sculpture that has drawn thousands of hate e-mails.
"This is a new take on pro-life. Pro-lifers normally promote bloody images of abortion. This is the image of birth," Daniel Edwards said of his work, to be unveiled at a Brooklyn gallery in April, months after Edwards' sculpture of Ted Williams severed head stirred up an artistic storm.
The life-size pop princess is naked and pregnant, crouching face-down on a bare-toothed bear rug as the baby's head appears on the opposite end.
On Tuesday at his studio in Moosup, Conn., Edwards was pouring a mold to cast the sculpture in resin. It'll be transported to the Capla Kesting Fine Art gallery in Brooklyn's artsy Williamsburg neighborhood, where Britney the artwork is to appear next to a display case filled with pro-life materials.
When some bloggers heard about the exhibit "Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston" the gallery was inundated with about 3,000 e-mails from around the world in just a week, split between pro-choice and pro-life opinions.
"We also got calls from Tokyo, England, France. Some people are upset that Britney is being used for this subject matter," said gallery co-owner David Kesting. "Others who are pro-life thought this was degrading to their movement. And some pro-choice people were upset that this is a pro-life monument."
The gallery is hiring extra security guards for the free exhibit opening April 7 and running two weeks.
The sculptor's three children ages 3, 6, and 8 helped build the first clay model of the sculpted Britney, mainly the bear rug.
"At first, the kids thought it was kind of gross. Yukky. But then, they got curious," their 40-year-old dad said in a telephone interview from his home, which is near his studio.
Compared to the hubbub around his art, Edwards' life is peaceful. He takes care of his two boys and a girl during the day, while his wife, a microbiologist whom he married right after high school, goes to work. Then they switch childcare duties while he works on his art.
His sculpture of the pop diva comes six months after she gave birth to her first child, Sean Preston and about a half year after Edwards displayed what he called his "shrine" to baseball great Williams, whose body was decapitated and frozen in hopes that medical science could one day revive him.
When asked why he creates art that generates publicity for him by piggybacking on subjects hyped in the media, Edwards said: "You're bombarded with these stories. And there's a thread that winds back to the art. That's not a bad thing. People are interested in these topics, and it works for art as well."
Spears' publicist, Leslie Sloan, did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Associated Press on Tuesday. Edwards said he never spoke to or met the star, and that he fashioned her face and figure from photographs.
"I admire her. This is an idealized figure," he said. "Everyone is coming at me with anger and venom, but I depicted her as she has depicted herself seductively. Suddenly, she's a mom."
His aim, said the son of a mother who gave birth to him when she was 17, was to stir up debate about a difficult topic that "is greater than the issues presented by either pro-life and pro-choice advocates."
When asked whether he's pro-life, he said, "You nailed me. I'm not saying that I am. I wouldn't march with either pro-life or pro-choice advocates. This is not meant to be political."
A Democrat, "I don't judge anybody for the decision they make."
