Shannon Elizabeth Divorce Update
Shannon Elizabeth
Shannon Elizabeth's ex-husband is seeking half of what couple owned when they lived together. The American Pie star began living with actor Joseph D. Reitman in 1997, according to papers filed in Superior Court.
Until their marriage on June 15, 2002, the couple agreed to "be equal partners in the acquisition of assets and in financial affairs whether such transactions were separate or joint," the lawsuit states.
Reitman claims that Elizabeth secretly transferred assets acquired during the years before their marriage and contends that he deserves half. He also alleges that he sacrificed his career to promote Elizabeth's.

Tomkat: Iinside Their Baby Battle
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise
At a time when Katie Holmes, 27, and Tom Cruise, 43, should be blissfully anticipating their child, "there's lots of stress in their home.
The baby is due any day, but they haven't come to an agreement on the birthing site," says an old friend of Katie. Holmes is pushing for a well-equipped hospital like L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center — just in case something goes wrong.
Not surprisingly, that's exactly what Katie's parents, Martin and Kathleen Holmes, want, too. "They'd feel more at peace with all of the resources a hospital can provide," says another source.
Although sources say Katie has agreed to have the baby according to Scientology's tenets — meaning the birth will be drug-free, Tom won't be allowed in the room and there will be total silence around Katie during (and for four to six hours after) the delivery — "she doesn't know what to expect. This is her first birth," Katie's friend reminds Star.
But Tom's adamant. He wants the baby to be born in a private, controlled environment. According to the friend, Cruise's location of choice is his Beverly Hills mansion, where he'd bring in state-of-the-art medical equipment and top doctors who "are agreeable to Scientology's birthing rituals."
Rick Ross, a Scientology expert, who does not know Tom or Katie, suggests that Cruise could also end up staging the birth at an official Scientology facility. "I think [the birth] will happen on The Tradewinds [a Scientology- owned luxury ship]," Ross says, "or they could do it at Gold Base."
A delivery at Gold Base, the religion's well-guarded 500-acre compound near Hemet, Calif., would also help assuage Tom's qualms about Katie's privacy.

Tom's New 'Mission'!
Tom Cruise in Misson Impossible III
The countdown to this summer's most hotly-awaited flick is on... 'Mission: Impossible III' explodes into theaters May 5, and ET has the latest 411 on the most exciting installment of the blockbuster TOM CRUISE franchise yet!
'Capote' star and newly minted Best Actor Oscar® winner PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN plays the heavy in the movie, and he may be Tom's most formidable nemesis yet!
"You have a wife, girlfriend?" he asks Tom in the movie. "Whoever she is, I'm going to find her. I'm going to hurt her. And then I'm going to kill you right in front of her."
Ouch! The movie's plot is being kept tightly under wraps, but have no fear: the action-thriller is directed by "Lost" mastermind J.J. ABRAMS, who recently sat down with ET to discuss making this monster-scale of a film.
"It's the most fun I've ever had making a movie," the first-time movie director said. "There were only a couple of times I felt, 'Oh my God, what am I doing here?'"
Abrams revealed that he and Tom basically got together and made their dream movie a reality ("We went nuts -- and made this movie!") and one of the most amazing things about the film is Tom himself, who worked tirelessly from start to finish and even did his own stunts, which are that much better when you know it really is Tom flying through the air!
"He's an unbelievable force," says J.J. "Tom worked so hard. He was the most dedicated, focused and committed in every way."

Secrets From Mrs. Travolta!
John Travolta and Kelly Preston
Between movies, motherhood and marriage, KELLY PRESTON is keeping busy -- all the while spilling Hollywood secrets about everything from the TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES union to her hubby JOHN TRAVOLTA's reported role as J.R. Ewing in the big-screen version of 'Dallas.'
"The last I heard, as of last night, I didn't know if it was definite, but I guess they're working it out," Kelly says of the 'Dallas' deal. "It was such a part of Americana TV and I think it will be fun."
ET caught up with Kelly to talk about the new campaign she's launching along with Country Crock®. To remind Americans of the benefits of sitting down over a family dinner, Country Crock® and Preston are asking everyone to take the Slow Down Pledge at http://www.countrycrock.com/.
In connection with the pledges, Country Crock® will make a donation of $25,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs, whose mission is to inspire and enable young people.
They also just recently hosted "America's Largest Sit Down Dinner" and for each person that attended, Country Crock® donated five pounds of Country Crock® Side Dishes, up to 5 tons, to America's Second Harvest, the Nation's Food Bank Network.
Kelly says that sitting down with the family is something simple yet significant and something her clan does on a regular basis. "We sometimes spend an hour or an hour and a half at the table where we're just talking, we're doing characters, ELLA will do a little performance," she says of her young daughter.
"You don't always have to sit. It's like if you start sitting, then everyone's chatting and laughing and talking and then Ella will run in and out and do a little dance. It's just fun."
And speaking of family, Kelly opens up about her famous friends and expecting parents Tom and Katie -- and dishes on the rumor that the pair is already hitched!
"I don't know if it's true because you can never trust everything you read," she says. "I don't know anything about it but they could be, they very well could have snuck out and done it -- and if they did I think it's great."
She says what she does know is that the headline-making couple is a good match. "The last time I saw them they were so excited and so happy to be pregnant," she says. "It's a perfect connection.
When I first heard about it I thought, 'Okay that's right, that's good. It's a really good fit.'"
And Kelly, who says she isn't keen on giving mothering advice, does offer words on what makes her marriage work. "Communication ... [but] I don't think it's any sort of secret," she admits. "[And] just keeping it fresh and honest.
You have to create it -- it doesn't happen on its own. You really have to put some intention into it and make it fun."
