Jennifer Aniston says she would like to reprise her role as Rachel Green in a reunion show of TV's most famous group of "Friends."

"The only thing I can think of doing is maybe for fun doing a Thanksgiving episode," Aniston said in a TV interview that was set to air Monday on Channel Four. "Our Thanksgiving episodes were really fun."

"Friends," which centered on the lives of six young friends living in Manhattan, ended its 10-year run in 2004. The NBC comedy also starred Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

Aniston, 37, was in London to promote her new film, "The Break-Up," co-starring Vince Vaughn. She gave little away when asked to comment on speculation that she and Vaughn are dating.
"Where did you hear that?" she said to Judy Finnigan, co-host of the "Richard and Judy" talk show.

"Listen, he's a great man, he's a great friend, he's a great actor and so much fun," Aniston said.

Pfeiffer has 'Hairspray' sheen

Michelle Pfeiffer

Michelle Pfeiffer is in final negotiations to join the cast of the movie adaptation of the hit Broadway musical comedy "Hairspray."

The play was itself based on the 1988 John Waters cult comedy feature about star-struck teenagers on a local Baltimore dance show.

Pfeiffer would play Velma von Tussel, a former beauty queen (Miss Baltimore Crabs) who can't move on and who is the producer of the dance show. She has worked in film musicals before, starring in "Grease 2" and "The Fabulous Baker Boys."

Already cast are John Travolta as Edna Turnblad, Queen Latifah as Motormouth Maybelle, Amanda Bynes as Penny Pingleton, Brittany Snow as Amber von Tussel, Zac Efron as Link Larkin, Elijah Kelley as Seaweed and newcomer Nikki Blonsky as Tracy Turnblad.

The New Line project is being directed by Adam Shankman. Production is scheduled to begin in the fall, with a December 21, 2007, release date.

Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman are contributing new songs to their existing Tony-winning score. Shaiman also will serve as the film's music supervisor and compose the music score for the film as well as produce its songs.

Avril Lavigne Marries Sum 41 Frontman

Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne has married a fellow Canadian musician. Lavigne married Deryck Whibley, guitarist and frontman for Sum 41, on Saturday, at a private estate near Santa Barbara, People magazine reported on its Web site.

The young rockers had a mostly traditional ceremony, the magazine said.
Lavigne wore a Vera Wang gown, carried white roses and was walked down the aisle by her father as Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" played.

Lavigne, 21, and Whibley, 26, exchanged vows under an awning covered in white flowers.

Messages left by The Associated Press for Lavigne's management company, Nettwerk Management, were not immediately returned Sunday.

The pair began dating in early 2004; they bought a house in Los Angeles later that year. They became engaged in Venice in 2005 while Lavigne was on a European tour.

The singer is working on her third album. She recently voiced the possum Heather in the movie "Over the Hedge."
