Claudia Schiffer Checks Out Chanel Show

Continuing to get her fill of fashion, Claudia Schiffer was back at Paris Fashion Week for the second day in a row - attending Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel Autumn/Winter 2008– 2009 collection show on Tuesday (July 1).

The 37-year-old German supermodel showed up decked out in a v-neck ¾ sleeved blazer dress with a matching Chanel clutch in hand.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz expecting a boy

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are expecting a baby boy, a rep from the baby boutique Petit Tresor tells CelebTV.com exclusively. The couple, who married in May, filled out a registry for their baby in June and our source says, “almost everything is blue.”

A salesperson who helped the couple said, “They [Simpson and Wentz] made it very clear that it was a boy.”

On June 30, the rocker couple bought a few T-shirts and bibs from Plain Mary with the words, “Hunk,” “Loved” and “Yummy” emblazoned on the front. The shirts retail for $28 and the bibs for $18.

Simpson and Wentz will visit the baby boutique next week to discuss the nursery, our source confirms.

Simpson’s rep did not immediately return our call for comment.

Angelina Jolie in french hospital for birth of twins

It’s the moment celeb watchers have been waiting for: Superstar mom Angelina Jolie has checked into a hospital in the south of France where she is expected to give birth to her twins, a hospital spokesperson said Tuesday.

Nadine Bauer, rep for the Lenval Hospital in Nice, said Jolie is fine and that everything is going well. She said Jolie’s admittance to the maternity wing had been planned for some time.

Bauer said the 33-year-old actress will almost certainly remain in the hospital until she gives birth. She said Jolie was admitted so she could be kept under normal surveillance — and is not expected to give birth immediately.

Bauer said Jolie was admitted recently but wouldn’t say exactly when.

“There’s no urgency. It’s been planned for a long time,” she said. “She’s very well. Everything is fine.”

Jolie has said the babies are due in August. She and partner Brad Pitt have four children: Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2.

The Brangelina clan has been settling into a new home in the south of France. They recently moved into the Miraval Estate villa in the French hamlet of Correns, in the Provence region.
