Orlando Bloom is to wed girlfriend Miranda Kerr, according to US reports.
The actor is thought to have proposed to the Victoria's Secret lingerie model recently. 

'They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year,’ a source tells Metro.

'They have had a bit of crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife.'

Last month, Miranda, 25, denied claims she had split from Orlando, 31.
'It doesn't make any difference to us,’ she said. ‘We know what the truth is, along with our families and close friends.

'I don't even bother reading the reports.'

The couple are apparently hoping to set a date for late next year.

Orlando Bloom meets the Parents

Orlando Bloom has met girlfriend Miranda Kerr's parents.

The Australian-born Victoria's Secret model took the 'Lord of the Rings' actor to lunch with her mother and father at Sydney's Catalina restaurant over the weekend.

An onlooker said: "They all seemed to be at ease with each other and were getting on well. Things seem to be getting serious between Orlando and Miranda."

Miranda, who was dressed down in a grey dress and brown boots, told a fellow diner jet-legged Orlando had been "very reclusive" since arriving in Australia last week.

She said: "I've had to drag him out today!"

After the meal, Orlando gave Miranda's mother a big hug before they went their separate ways.

Miranda recently described Orlando as a "sweetheart" and revealed the pair shared a mutual belief in Buddhism.

She said: "He's a sweetheart and that's all I'm going say. A real sweetheart.

"I practice Japanese Buddhism. At the heart of it all, it's about practicing peace."

In 2005, Orlando took his first steps towards becoming a Buddhist by taking part in an hour-long ceremony to commit himself to the faith.

He joined 60 other fledgling Buddhists at the Soka Gakkai International Buddhist movement's headquarters at Taplow Court Mansion in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

During the ceremony, Orlando was presented with a Gohonzon - a scroll with Chinese and Sanskrit characters on it.

Orlando Bloom's Rumer Romance

Orlando Bloom is reportedly romancing Rumer Willis.

The 31-year-old actor was seen canoodling with 19-year-old Rumer - the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore - at Prince's 'purple' Oscars party on Sunday (24.02.08).

A source said: "The chemistry between them was electric. They were all over each other and didn't seem to care who saw them."


Last week, Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr, who is rumoured to be dating the handsome 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, said Orlando was a "sweetheart".

She coyly told People magazine: "He's a sweetheart and that's all I'm going say. A real sweetheart."

Earlier this month, Orlando and Miranda were seen kissing at New York's Max Brenner Chocolate café where they bought two mocha hot chocolates.

A source said: "They made out the entire time they were waiting in the line. They only had eyes for each other."
