Keith Urban: I'm ready for another baby

Nicole Kidman's husband is keen to grow their family

Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban could find themselves parents again if the country singer gets his way.

Keith, 41, has made no secret of the fact he'd love a brother or sister for Sunday Rose, 6 months.

‘It’s unbelievable how much Keith has changed since Sunday came along,’ a friend tells Now. ‘He loves it [being a father].

'Keith says Sunday’s helped him to conquer his demons and he’s been happy to play the house husband while Nicole’s travelled the world promoting her movie Australia.

'He’s loving it so much that he’s putting pressure on Nicole to have another child already.’

The couple now divide their time between homes in Nashville and LA, where Nicole’s adopted children Isabella, 16, and Connor, 13, live with her ex Tom Cruise, 46.

Nicole Kidman thinks her baby girl looks nothing like her.

The actress says Sunday Rose is the double of her dad Keith Urban.

'I don’t even get a look in. I think she’s got my fair skin and that’s about it.’

Nicole, 41, gave birth to Sunday in July, her first child with Keith, 41.

The star also has adopted children Connor, 13, and Isabella, 15, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, 46.

‘But they're very used to having children around. Connor's like, "I want a boy!"'

‘I would have to describe myself as emotional and highly strung,’ he says. ‘If something upsets me, it really upsets me. If something makes me angry I get really angry.

‘It’s all very upfront, I can’t hide it. [But] I’m also loyal and I hope I’m fun.’

Nicole Kidman shows off Sunday Rose in Public

THERE'S no doubt she's Mummy's girl: Nestled in Nicole Kidman's arms, two-month-old Sunday Rose showed off her strawberry blonde hair.

And although Nicole wore a cap as she carried her daughter in London on Friday, the few strands that escaped were a perfect match.

It is the first time Sunday Rose's face has been seen in public. Her 41-year-old mum is filming in the capital and has spent a month rehearsing for the musical Nine, with Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson. She is expected to be there until Christmas.

Nicole gave birth to Sunday Rose, named after the Australian art collector Sunday Reeve, in July in Nashville, where she lives with hubby Keith Urban, 40. He is with her in the UK.

She also has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise – Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13. She and Urban are reportedly planning to move to Los Angeles to be closer to them. But although Sunday Rose is small enough to pick up and go, Nicole may find her entourage a little less portable. It consists of a nanny, a chef, a driver, a bodyguard and a personal assistant.

Nicole recently attributed the "miracle" birth of her daughter to the health-giving pristine waters in which she swam while filming the Baz Luhrmann-directed epic Australia in a remote location in Western Australia.

Nicole told Australian Women's Weekly: "I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child but it happened on this movie.

"My miracle pregnancy came after a plunge in an Outback fertility waterfall.

"Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy.

"There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now."

Nicole and her family have relocated to London temporarily while she rehearses for Nine.

Nicole Kidman's baby water

Nicole Kidman says special Australian "fertility water" helped her conceive.

The 'Moulin Rouge!' actress - who welcomed daughter Sunday Rose, her first child with husband Keith Urban, into the world in July - credited the liquid from the town of Kununurra, West Australia, where she was filming new movie 'Australia', for aiding her and six other women on set to fall pregnant.

Nicole - who also has two adopted children, Isabella, 15 and Connor, 13, with ex-husband Tom Cruise - said: "I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child but it happened on this movie. Nothing happened in a small way on this film. We had heat and torrential rains and equine flu and then I got pregnant.

"Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy. There is something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now."

The 41-year-old actress - who stars alongside Hugh Jackman in Baz Luhrmann's epic film - also admitted she was surprised at how easy her labour was.

She added to The Australian Women's Weekly magazine: "I'm so lucky I'm so tall, so I carried small and also, I have to say, I had a birth that I was blessed with, a labour that was very good and a baby that was very good to me in that regard

"They say that an easy labour is genetic, so I'm grateful for that because it was beautiful and Keith was my rock through it all. To be given this again is a beautiful thing. To have raised Bella and Connor since I was 25 and now to be able to do it again at 41... wow!"

What Tom Cruise thinks about Nicole Kidman's baby

It's never nice when an ex-husband or wife has another child, so we take a look at What Tom Cruise thinks about Nicole Kidman having a baby.

Tom's already made the first move by sending Nicole flowers, but we reckon inside he's bubbling with anger and seething with personal rage.

The Daily Mirror had reported that Tom immediately sent Nicole flowers upon hearing of the birth but now People.com say that Tom never sent any flowers to his ex wife. Did he or didn't he?

Instead it is rumoured that Katie Holmes picked out a luxury baby basket and had it shipped over to Nashville.

Katie is twelve years younger than new mum Nicole and is said to be trying to help her husband's ex.

Tom and Nicole do have two adopted children from their ten year marriage and many speculate that they are the reason the baby basket was sent.

It was rumoured late last year that Nicole was furious with the former Dawsons Creek actress after Katie told BANG Showbiz that Tom's children call her 'mom.'

She told them: "Tom is a great father and husband and Connor and Bella are incredible, really smart and kind. They call me 'mom.'"

Nicole then allegedly banned the children from calling Katie 'mom' after reading the interview. If this is true then Tom won't have been pleased.

A source said: "Nicole was anxious to make it very clear that she is Connor's and Bella's mother. They may not live with her but no one can take that away from her."

Katie is thought to have been trying to mend their relationship for the sake of the children.

What implications does the birth of Sunday Rose have for the other Cruise-Kidman children?

Adopted children Bella and Connor may have gained a new sister but poor Suri Cruise might struggle to understand where she fits into the complicated family.

Maybe Katie and Tom will try for another baby soon so Suri doesn't feel like the odd one out?

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban name Sunday Rose after muse

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

And indeed, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, is the sweet baby girl of parents Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.

But where did she get the name Sunday Rose?

The couple named their daughter, born July 7, after an early 20th-century artist’s muse Sunday Reed, according to the Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph. Her middle name, Rose, is a nod to Urban’s late grandmother Rose.

“I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John—she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century,” Kidman’s father Antony told the paper. “The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it.”

Kidman and Urban reportedly visited an exhibition by artist Sidney Nolan, who had a longtime relationship with Reed who became his muse, reported the paper.

The exhibition featured a quote from Nolan that was scrawled across a wall: “When you are young you are given a good view of life, because of your closeness to birth.”

Nicole Kidman, 41 today, tells American Vogue about baby

NICOLE Kidman has described the experience of carrying her own child as "primal", saying she enjoys the unpredictable nature of pregnancy.

The Oscar-winner also revealed that she fainted while on a horse on the set of the new Baz Luhrmann-directed epic Australia and said gardening at her home in Tennessee was helping her relax before the birth of her first biological child next month.

Kidman, who turns 41 today, made the revelations in a cover story for the new issue of American Vogue, which will hit news stands in the US next week.

"When I first saw the baby on the ultrasound, I started crying," she said.

"I didn't think I'd get to experience that in my lifetime.

"To feel life growing with you is something very, very special - and I'm going to embrace that completely. The whole experience is so primal. I like the unpredictable nature of it."

Kidman, who has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, said she was overwhelmed with joy when she found out that she was pregnant in her home town of Sydney after production on Australia moved from the outback.

"To be given the blessing of a child at this stage of my life - you just say, 'Wow, this was meant to be'," she said.

"I'm glad I've learned to let things flow. I'm now so much more capable of receiving love and giving it in a far different way."

Kidman, who has continued doing rigorous exercise during her pregnancy, played down the criticism about her body, which has remained strikingly thin despite the actress being on the verge of giving birth.

"Just look at how I'm sitting here with my legs apart," she told Vogue. "This is the way you have to sit when you're pregnant."

Kidman, who posed for a shoot with world-renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz on the set of the upcoming Australia, said when she found out she was pregnant she instantly withdrew from her scheduled role in drama The Reader but continued to work 15-hour days on the set of Australia.

The willowy actress stars as a British aristocrat who bands with a handsome drover, played by Hugh Jackman, to drive 2000 head of cattle across the Australian outback as World War II is erupting.

Jackman said his long-time friend struggled in the early months of her pregnancy.

"Nicole had horrendous morning sickness," Jackman said.

"But she's a trouper - she put everything on the line every day."

Kidman, who is expected to give birth in either Los Angeles or Tennessee, said the film was the most challenging project she had ever worked on in her 25-year acting career.

"It's the roughest thing I ever had to go through," Kidman said.

"I was sitting on a horse once and I remember thinking, 'Gosh, this is what it feels like before you faint', and then I fainted.

"There was another time we flew in by helicopter to the salt flats it was like a moonscape - there was just nothing there and we got caught in a dust storm so bad we couldn't even see.

"Everybody lived out there for five days in these little silver tents. It was great. That's the adventure.

"That's why you make movies. It's the equivalent of The African Queen, where they were out in the wilderness and Katharine Hepburn was washing her hair with a bucket. We all want that experience."

Kidman said she had been enjoying simple pleasures at the rural property she shares with her country singer husband Keith Urban - near Nashville in Tennessee - during the past few weeks.

"We have a farm there and I have an organic vegetable garden," she said.

"This is a path I'd not taken before - my mum's always gardened, my sister gardens and I've now conformed to the Kidman women's hobby of gardening.

"There's a softness to the Tennessee landscape that I just love. It's very beautiful out there. We have deer and wild turkeys."

Pregnancy has not lessened Kidman's love of a good time.

The magazine revealed she recently tossed a party at her friend Naomi Watts's house and made a grand entrance carrying an enormous python.

The writer also said that when he arrived on the set of Australia to interview the leading lady, she spoke to him in a toffy English accent - keeping in character as Lady Sarah, the aristocrat who falls in love with the rough cattleman, played by Jackman.

Jackman told the magazine Kidman had persuaded him to take on the role before they'd even read the script.

"Nicole came over to my house for a Super Bowl party in 2006," Jackman says. "And she knew I was talking to Baz about doing the movie. She said, 'You must do it, you must do it', and I asked, 'have you read the script?' and she said, 'No, it's Baz. I don't need the script'."

Nicole Kidman has such a weakness for chocolate cake she munches her way through one every week. The actress admits she could gobble down a huge slice of cake every night, but has to limit her chocolate habit.

Lepaparazzi News Update: Kidman in crash during LA movie shoot

LOS ANGELES - Nicole Kidman was taken to a hospital after the Jaguar she was in crashed early Thursday during downtown shooting of the science fiction thriller "The Invasion," police said.

Kidman, 39, was examined at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and then released a short time later. Paramedics were called to examine Kidman for injuries before she was taken to the hospital, police said.

"Nicole Kidman was in the vehicle at the time of the accident and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. She was released shortly thereafter," Warner Bros. said in a statement.

No other actors were involved in the scene at the time of the accident, the studio said.

The Jaguar was being towed by a camera rig that skidded while taking a corner and caused Kidman's car to hit a pole on West Sixth Street, police said. The actress was wearing a seat belt.

"The stunt driver apparently went off course and hit a light post at about 1 a.m.," police Officer Karen Smith said.

Eight people, including Kidman, stuntmen and cameramen, were taken to hospitals for examination and were released, Smith said. Warner Bros. said two crew members had minor injuries.

Warner Bros., a unit of Time Warner Inc., also said production continued after the crash and Kidman was expected back on the set Thursday.

The Oscar-winning actress, who stars as a Washington psychiatrist who unearths the origin of an alien epidemic, was involved in a scene involving an escape from zombielike characters who are on the hood of the car.
