Céline Dion: Singer desperately hopes for a second baby

Céline Dion has revealed that she hopes to get pregnant after her world tour next year.

‘There is a small window of hope,’ she tells chat show host Oprah Winfrey.

‘We’ll give it a try after my tour.’

‘Hopefully we [will be] parents again. If not, that’s fine. We have our miracle baby.’

Céline, 40, and husband René Angélil, 66, have a 7-year-old son René-Charles, conceived through IVF.

After three years performing in Las Vegas and a stint on the road with her world tour, Celine Dion is ready to set up a permanent base in Europe with her husband Rene Angelil and son Rene Charles it seems. The singer is reported to have invested in a luxury property in one of Paris' most upmarket neighbourhoods.

Celine, who is of French-Canadian descent and has released several albums in her native tongue, has apparently splashed out £37 million for a house in Villa Montmorency, a gated residential area in the French capital's chic 16th arrondissement.

The Quebec-born songbird joins a number of other high-profile homeowners in the area. Her new neighbours include First Lady of France Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and her husband's billionaire pal Dominique Desseigne.

She's been in showbusiness for over three decades, and when it comes to making an impression with her choice of stage outfits Celine Dion still knows what's up-to-the-minute hip.

For a Madison Square Garden concert on the US leg of her world tour, the Quebec-born songbird opted for a standout design that has just been seen on the catwalks of London Fashion Week.

The beautiful fuchsia pink strapless gown, by French fashion house Balmain, was one of the frocks featured in a charity fashion show organised by supermodel Naomi Campbell. The dress was modelled by Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole at the event.
