Anne Hathatway announced on website as winner of Golden Globe

MOVIE star ANNE HATHAWAY was yesterday named on a website as the winner of a Golden Globe - 48 hours BEFORE the results are revealed.

An asterisk was next to her name on a list of nominees for Best Dramatic Actress on the Hollywood Foreign Press Association site, which runs the show.

A key at the top said the symbol would be placed next to winners’ names when they are announced at the ceremony tomorrow.

It was swiftly removed and the association refused to comment.

Anne, 26, was nominated over the Jonathan Demme flick Rachel Getting Married.

Anne Hathaway gets letters from fans asking for photographs of her bare feet.

The 'Rachel Getting Married' actress - who recently revealed she is dating actor Adam Shulman - is always freaked out when she gets bizarre fan mail from odd admirers.

She said: "It's nice to get good feedback from people who see the movies but I have had a few scary letters which I could really do without.

"I've had letters asking for pictures of my bare feet, which is just weird. I try not to take those too seriously because mostly everyone is really nice to me."

Anne, 25, isn't the only celebrity to have been bombarded with "weird" letters from fans.

'Pushing Daisies' star Anna Friel admits her stunning looks attract a lot of unwanted attention.

She said: "I don't really think about being a fantasy object. I'd only think about it if I got weird things through the post.

"There was a guy who sent me a photograph of his bedroom and it was walls and walls just covered in posters of me. I found that a bit freaky. And asking for knickers is weird too."

Anne Hathaway has been snapped with new boyfriend Adam Shulman.

The couple attended a screening of her latest film Rachel Getting Married in New Orleans.

‘We met through mutual friends,’ Adam tells Life & Style.

‘I came to support Anne. We've never been to New Orleans before - it’s our first time.’

Anne, 25, is thought to have started dating the US actor last month.

'This guy I know in LA is kind of doing it for me right now,' she said recently. 'When I think of sexy, I think of him.'

She split from Italian lover Raffaello Follieri in June shortly before he was arrested for money laundering and fraud.

He was sentenced to 4½ years in prison last month after pleading guilty.

Anne Hathaway's ex sentenced

Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri has been sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison.

The Italian businessman - who dated 'The Devil Wears Prada' actress for four years before they split in June - was sentenced at Manhattan federal court in New York yesterday (23.10.08) after pleading guilty to charges of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy.

Follieri - who spoke in court through an interpreter - admitted he had "no excuses" for his illegal actions.

The 30-year-old said: "The most important thing I want the court to know is I was not raised with bad values. I started off with good intentions, determined to run an honourable business and make everyone proud of me.

"What I did was wrong and there is no point in making excuses. I will never be able to wash away the shame. I just hope that someday those who have been hurt by my actions will forgive me."

Follieri was arrested in June after he was found to be lying to potential investors, saying he was a member of the Vatican, and then using the money to travel to the Dominican Republic on holiday with Hathaway.

He was also found guilty of using the money to pay his $37,000-a-month rent, medical bills for both him and Hathaway, and his father's orthodontist bills.

Follieri - whose next hearing is scheduled for December 12 - will be imprisoned in either New Jersey's Fort Dix facility or the jail in Otisville, New York, after officials have decided the level of security he needs.

Prior to yesterday's hearing, Follieri had agreed not to appeal any sentence that was shorter than 63 months in prison.

In addition to jail time, he will have to pay a $1,400 special assessment fee to the United States and was also given three years of supervised release.

Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend arrested in New York

Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri, who recently split from long-time girlfriend actress Anne Hathaway, was arrested on Tuesday on charges of operating a fraudulent real estate scheme that he claimed was linked to the Vatican.

Follieri, 29, was charged with conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering, in a criminal complaint unsealed in Manhattan Federal Court on Tuesday.

The complaint contends Follieri got millions of dollars in investment money from a private equity firm based on his misrepresentations that he had close connections with the Vatican that enabled him to buy the Catholic Church’s unwanted U.S. real estate properties at a discount.

Instead, Follieri and others used the investors’ money for expensive clothes and restaurant meals, a $37,000-a-month Manhattan apartment, dog-walking services and other personal expenditures including medical expenses for his girlfriend at the time, according to the complaint.

The “Get Smart” and ”The Devil Wears Prada” star who had dated Follieri for several years, split with him just a week ago, according to reports.

Anne Hathaway will quit acting if 'Becoming Jane' is a flop.

The US actress, who stars as British writer Jane Austen, will "never forgive herself" if critics slam her performance.

Anne told Britain's Grazia magazine: "If I messed this up, I'd never forgive myself. I might have to stop acting. The key thing was the accent because everybody will be listening for it."

The 23-year-old also branded her co-star James McAvoy "shameless" after he stripped off and ran naked into a lake in the movie.

Anne joked: "That was the most homoerotic scene. And he keeps his boots on! He told me he felt really stupid - this is the man who had to parade around in green tights for 'The Chronicles Of Narnia', so I figure he has very little shame."

'The Devil Wears Prada' actress says her boyfriend Raffaello Follieri banned her from speaking in a British accent when she was away from set.

Anne revealed: "He begged me to stop. I really immersed myself in it, but when I talked to Raffaello, he said, 'Please! It's bad enough you're abroad and I can't see you, now I can't even hear you!' So I spoke as myself with him."
