Paris Hilton is so distraught following her recent
encounter with Shanna Moakler in a Los Angeles
nightclub, she plans to take out a restraining order
against the former beauty queen.
The Stars are Blind singer is seeking the order in
response to an incident early last Wednesday
(04OCT06) at the Hyde night spot, during which
Moakler allegedly punched her in the face.
Hilton tells US publication Star, "I'm scared of her. I
feel like I have to do something to protect myself."
The hotel heiress was talking to her former flame
Stavros Niarchos III when Moakler apparently
approached her screaming expletives.
Hilton says, "She threw a punch in my left jaw so
hard." She confirms Niarchos threw his drink in
Moakler's face, but adds, "He never touched her.
She was never touched by anyone."
Both women filed police reports following the
incident, with Moakler claiming Niarchos pushed
her down some stairs.
Moakler was reportedly unhappy about Hilton's
alleged with her estranged husband Travis Barker.

awful naked."

bloody hair extensions."
In recent years the mother of sons Brooklyn, eight, Romeo,
four, and 20-month-old Cruz has turned her back on the

Nicole Kidman has reportedly telephoned
Katie Holmes to encourage her to go ahead
with her wedding to Tom Cruise.
Nicole, who was married to the 'Mission
Impossible' actor for ten years, made the call
after hearing that Katie was nervous about
walking down the aisle with Tom.
A source told Britain's Grazia magazine:
"Nicole has made sure that she has told Katie
how pleased she is they're getting married.
"She's alleviated some of Katie's worries
about what it's like being married to Tom and
urged her to go ahead with the wedding.
Nicole usually minds her own business, but
she made an exception in this case."
'Cold Mountain' star Nicole got married herself
this summer to country music star Keith Urban.
Former 'Dawson's Creek' actress Katie - who
gave birth to her and Tom's first child,
daughter Suri, in April - is said to be nervous
about marrying the 'Top Gun' star as her
devout Catholic parents do not approve of his
Scientology beliefs.
The source added: "Nicole called Katie and
they had a friendly chat, during which she said
Tom had been a great, supportive husband for
ten years and she shouldn't listen to any
gossip about him that suggests otherwise."
