Celebs Converge on Dior Fashion Show

Janet Jackson

Kanye West

Liv Tyler

Eva Mendes

Claudia Schiffer

As the 2008 Paris Haute-Couture Fashion week rages on, one show in particular had a bevy of celebrity presence… the 2009 Spring/Summer line by Christian Dior.

The Rodin Museum in the City of Lights was the place to be to check out the latest looks from one of the fashion industry’s top designers - just ask Kanye West, Liv Tyler, Eva Mendes and Claudia Schiffer.

Miss Mendes showed up at the event with a big smile and a very bright ensemble, including an orange top and pink belted skirt teamed with a pair of super-high white heels.

Meanwhile Liv Tyler kept things more conservative hue-wise with a short-sleeved belted black dress with black strappy heels and a black leather handbag.

Fashion icon Claudia Schiffer dressed to get attention in a silver v-neckline dress, while the always-interesting Kanye West kept it casual in a classic white t-shirt underneath a white hooded jacket with a pair of black shades.

Heidi Montag: Christian Music?s Next Big Thing?

We recently reported on Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt heading to church for Sunday worship. And now it sounds like the peroxide princess may be considering taking her career down the ‘straight and narrow’ path.

That’s right, Miss Montag is getting back in touch with her Christian roots, according to a recent interview. She told press, “I have been the most religious person since I was 2 years old. I always felt this crazy connection to God.”

American Idol's Kristy Lee signs record deal

Kristy Lee Cook, the Oregon singer currently on tour with her fellow "American Idol" finalists, has signed a deal with 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville. As USA Today reports, Cook's first single is titled "15 Minutes of Shame" (don't suppose that title refers to her notorious rendition of "Eight Days a Week" on "Idol"?).

The single's due out Aug. 11, with an album scheduled to come out in the fall.

Producing the disc is Brett James, who has had success with Cook's fellow country-singing "Idol" veteran, Carrie Underwood -- James co-wrote Underwood's big hit, "Jesus, Take the Wheel."

Sounds promising for Cook. The "American Idols Live" tour comes to Portland's Rose Garden July 11.
