Newcomer Gale Harold serious but expected to make full recovery
Desperate Housewives actor Gale Harold has been seriously injured in a motorbike accident.
The 39-year-old plays Jackson, new love interest of Susan Meyer (Terri Hatcher).
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition after the crash in LA on Tuesday.
‘We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident,’ his publicist says.
‘He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries. Everyone is hopeful for a full recovery. No one else was injured in the accident.’
Series creator Marc Cherry released a statement sending his thoughts to the star.
‘Gale is a part of the Desperate Housewives family and our thoughts and wishes are with him for a speedy recovery.’
Gale was first seen on UK screens on Channel 4 last night in the finale of the fourth season.
